The transition from SWOT “fast-sampling” phase to SWOT “nominal orbit” phase will start on July 11th.
Earlier this week, SWOT project team announced that everything is on track for starting SWOT orbit transition from the “fast sampling” phase (1-day repeat) to the “nominal orbit” phase (21 day repeat).
The transition should start on the 11th July and should finish around the 21st July (with maybe 1 week uncertainty) depending on the exact maneuver execution and performance.
